Discover Catholic Classical Education
High School with a Higher Purpose.
Dream it.
Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Walsingham is a classical high school in the Catholic tradition. We are sponsored by the Chesterton Schools Network, a community of nearly twenty schools in the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
Build it.
We are founded by a group of core families in the Colorado Springs area who wish to provide our children with a classical education firmly rooted in our Catholic faith. Our classical model ensures the highest rigor with the best character formation.
Grow it.
The school will follow the Socratic method of teaching, with a rigorous focus on classic literature, philosophy, science, mathematics, history, and Latin. Students will start their day attending daily Mass, and all staff take an Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.
Don’t be afraid to Dare Great Things for Christ!
If the Lord places something on your heart, time and again, you have the obligation to discern it, seek it out, and step out in to the deep.
That is how my journey began to bring classical, Catholic high school education to Colorado Springs.
After listening to Dale Ahlquist speak about founding Chesterton Academies, it intrigued me enough to begin talking with our parish priest, some friends who were classically trained, and the Chesterton Schools Network, to discern further if this was something the Lord desired. As I’m reminded of St. Padre Pio, “You do not have to be worthy; you only have to be willing.”
